The role

Room Attendants are the heart of housekeeping. Room Attendants reset rooms between guests — strip, make, restock, and finish to spec. Public Area Cleaners look after everything else a guest sees: lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lifts, restaurants between services, gyms and pool decks. Different rhythms, same standard — both keep a property looking like it runs itself.

You'll thrive here if you're hard-working, methodical, and take genuine pride in a job done right. Good for early starters, late finishers, or anyone who likes seeing visible results from their work and would rather be on their feet than at a desk.

A typical shift

Room Attendant shifts begin with a briefing and a room board — then a steady rhythm of strip-and-make, bathroom, dust, vacuum, restock, check. Public Area shifts run differently: patrol-style rounds of corridors, restrooms, and shared spaces, with deeper periodic work between peaks. Both close with a clean handover and any maintenance issues logged.

Where you could work

Room Attendants can work across hotels, serviced apartments and luxury accommodation. You may support housekeeping teams across guest rooms, public areas and premium spaces. This role is ideal for someone organised, reliable and focused on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort.
