The role
Events Promotional Staff handle the practical promotional work that supports a campaign — flyer distribution, leaflet handouts, sampling, promotional giveaways, and queue engagement at event entrances. The role is more transactional than the Brand Ambassador role and focuses on volume, reach, and consistent presence over product expertise. Training is brief and client-led where required.

The role suits friendly, reliable workers who are comfortable working outdoors and engaging members of the public briefly and politely. It is well-suited to those starting out in event work, and to those wanting flexible part-time shifts.
A typical shift
Four to eight hours depending on the campaign. The shift begins with a short briefing on the campaign, the , the territory, and the materials. Workers distribute promotional materials within the agreed area, engage members of the public briefly, and report back at agreed intervals. Wrap-up includes a count of materials distributed and any feedback the client wants captured.
Requirements & expectations
- Right to work in the UK
- Friendly, presentable manner — workers are visible and represent a paying client
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather
- Reliability — campaign volumes are planned in advance
- Ability to follow a brief and stay on-
- Comfortable on their feet for the duration of the shift
